Stephanie Calvet has worked in the architecture industry for over 20 years. She trained as an architect in the USA, and for over a decade worked in architecture and planning firms in Boston, designing buildings in the hospitality, education, multi-unit residential, senior living, and healthcare sectors. She also served as adjunct professor in the Department of Architecture at Wentworth Institute of Technology in Boston. Stephanie's career also encompasses architectural consulting, preparing proposals, reports and other marketing collateral.
Now based in Toronto, Stephanie writes for architecture, design and urban planning publications: Wallpaper*, Canadian Architect, AZURE, UrbanToronto, among others. Her photography has been featured in magazines, in group and solo exhibitions across New England, and is on permanent installation at MIT's University Park. Her photos won third place in the 1st annual International Photography Awards (Lucie Foundation). Stephanie is fluent in English, French, Spanish, and speaks conversational Latvian.
